Greetings!  Until I regain access to ftp.gnu.org, I'm using the Debian
package numbering system to distinguish between releases.  You can
look at the top of debian/changelog for this number.  Nothing is going
into the 2.6.1 series but bugfixes -- 2.7.0 has major ansi work and
support for new systems, etc.  The latter is where the fedora stuff
will go if/when we figure out what we want to do.
