If you are referring to the (satisfies user-defined-predicate-p)
issue, then yes.

By default, GCL ships with 512MB max core size. Many other memory
parameters now scale with this value, so if you need the space, you
might get better performance with --enable-maxpages='256*1024' (1Gb)
or even higher if you want to allow for swap.
