[Gcl-devel] deb problem |

Hi, Camm --
I just fetched a GCL executable distribution for Sun/Solaris, and I figured
this was the right one:
wget ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gcl/gcl_2.6.1-33_sparc.deb
After unpacking, though not as root (ar x gcl_2.6.1-33_sparc.deb), and editing
2.6.1-33/usr/bin/gcl, I tried it and got this error:
saved_gcl: Cannot find /lib/ld-linux.so.2
I'm surprised to see a reference to "linux". Anyhow, I tried again with just
gcl-2.6.1/unixport/saved_gcl and got the same error. Here is information about
the machine:
pip.cs.utexas.edu% uname -a
SunOS pip.cs.utexas.edu 5.9 Generic_112233-11 sun4u sparc
pip.cs.utexas.edu%
Any suggestions?
