Have you any ideas.  It looks like Eric is having BFD configuration problems
causing undefined CONST in "o/fat_string.h".

Eric, what arguments did you pass to configure before typing make?

Hi Mike,

I'm running Mandrake Linux 8.1.

I have attached the *error* output to this message.

Do you need the *output* messages as well? Or just the
*error* output? I can't do cut and paste from my
xterm, i can just redirect the 'standard error' and
'standard output' descriptors to a file.
