HI this seems to be an error because no FASL is generated.
I have no problems with this file with SBCL and I am mystified as to
what the problem is.
gcl 2.6.7 on AMD64 Ubuntu Linux. Switching to the CVS version of gcl is
not feasible for various reasons.
