Hi Stefano,
I have no idea what the cause is for your problem and I have never heard
of this problem before. Are you sure that the problem is caused by
installing gnome-commander?
Maybe you have made some other change to the system recently that has
broken your desktop?
BTW: What exactly do you mean with "the icons on the screen are no more
active"?
