Ok thanks. But it should work like this to:

Left click and than control holding + left click

"should"???

It is working like it "should" today, just like the
authors of the aplication ment it to work. It is not a bug.

Left click and then Shift + left click works quite allright
to mark a list of files as they are currently sorted.

But when you are marking individual files, you do have to
mark the first one too, or else you would also get the
currently _selected_ file marked, and you may not want
that. Like this: For the moment AS1.txt is selected,
but i want to mark FS2.txt and FS4.txt but not AS1
or all the files between AS1 and FS2 and not FS3 either.

Now i Ctrl+click on FS2 and then the same on FS4.
As you describe it i would have to first select
FS2 then

It would be great if selection with right click would work

On right click there are the context menu for the
currently selected file or marked selection.

(things in that menu can also work on multiple selected files)
