Hi Julien thanks for checking on your machine, I went back andfound a mistake with the setup of gcc on the Apple computer here which caused the problem.
Some libraries in /usr/local/lib were from previous versions of gcc. I fixed this by re-installing gcc, and using --prefixto put the getfem libraries in their own directory. The code passes all tests now.

Hi Richard, gcc version 4.0.1 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 5363) 'make check' inside getfem++ works, but When I run matlab, getfem fails with funtions using bricks, it reports the following errors (below) Does anyone here have suggestions as to what to do in this case?I have just tested with a freshly compiled getfem++-2.0.1 andgetfem-interface-2.0 on my powerbook with gcc-4.0.1 (build 5341) and Matlab7sp2 and everything went fine (all tests passed). strange.. -- julien
