Just a quick "half-answer" -- check if your boundary conditions are right
(if wrong this might result in singular system matrix).

I was trying to find (not very hard I must admit) hat his cryptic SuperLU
info numbers mean. Does anybody know where to look for their description
so we can have more verbose error messages ?
