Dear Klaus-Peter,
Not really. I do not have this problem with my version.
Which version of Getfem do you use ?
Yves.

Dear Yves,
As you have written, I have
started
matlab with the option -nojvm and tested the
demo_bilaplacian - script.
It stopped as before at the
gf-Model_get(md,'solve','noisy');
command (at approx. line 96) and
writes
out one line of error message:
** On entry to DGETRF parameter
number
4 had an illegal value
--------
The same error occurred if I
started
the demo_stokes_3D_tank.
With google I found:
DGETRF is a routine of LAPACK
which
computes an LU factorization of a general M-by-N matrix A.
Parameter number 4 is (maybe) the
leading
dimension of the array A,
Do you know how to solve the
problem
?
best wishes,
Klaus-Peter Johnsen
Dear Klaus-Peter,
Can you try with the option -nojvm
matlab -nojvm
May be an error message in printed in the matlab console that
you cannot
see.
Yves.

Dear Yves,
it crashes without any message and also in case of
./configure - -disable-mumps ...
the demo_bilaplacian seems to have the same problem, but
demo_laplacian
works well.
best wishes and have a nice weekend !
Klaus-Peter
P.S.: Thank you very much for your quick answer !
Dear Klaus-Peter,
If it crashes with a message which concerns MPI, it comes from
the fact
that you linked the distributed version of mumps.
If it is the case, you have to disable mumps or to link the
sequential
version.
Yves.

Hello,
I tried to test getfem++ with matlab and started the
demo_stokes_3D_tank.m
in matlab.
The program run until the gf_model_get(md, 'solve' ...) command
(in line
167) and than matlab crashed.
All tests with 3D meshes failed at the command gf_model_get (md,
'solve')
in matlab.
The 2d example demo_laplacian worked very well.
I used matlab 7.10.0 (R2010a) under ubuntu and the
getfem-version getfem-4.1.1.tar.gz.
Do you know the reason why it crashed or could
you run the 3D examples under matlab R2010a ? If you could run
it: How
have you configured the getfem++ ?
best wishes,
Klaus-Peter Johnsen
