Dear Oladayo,

Your mesh is ok. After that, you can detect (see the tutorial examples, for 
instance) and mark the different boundaries and prescribe the different 
boundary conditions
when you build your model.

Subject: Mesh creation, and model specification.

Attached are two images. The model I wish to construct, and the mesh I have
so far. The model is a linear elastic, nearly or totally incompressible
undergoing quasi-static plain strain.
So far, I am trying to mesh the geometry, and have created the image
mesh1.jpg. It uses mesher objects of a 2d rectangle with a ball removed
from the mesh.
However I am not sure this is the right approach, as I do not know how to
go about making all the model specifications in order to get the model in
geometry.tiff. I would like to know if there are files anyone could point
me to on how to do this, or a more appropriate way to build the mesh for
the problem.
