Dear Ryan,

If you have normal vectors to the faces, the simplest is to use them using the 'outer_faces_with_direction' method
of the interface for instance. Otherwise, you ave also the 'outer_faces_in_box' method.
If the mesh is produced by gmsh, you can also import the face numbering.

Hi all,

I need to run a model on a fairly complicated domain (polygon with ~ 50 sides), and I need to set regions to apply different boundary conditions.

The demos I’ve seen so far use domains where the regions can be found by simple tests. Does anyone have an example of defining regions for a more complicated boundary?

Thanks,
Ryan
