http://www.gnu.org/gnulist/production/gdbm.html descibes GNU dbm as, "A set
of database routines that use extensible hacking ."
http://www.gnu.org/software/gdbm/gdbm.html says, "GNU dbm is a set of
database routines that use extensible hashing."
I suspect that "extensible hacking" might be a typographical error.
