It also contains built-in support for generating the C source code needed to recreate the interfaces. The user interfaces designed in Glade are stored in the well-known XML format, enabling easy integration with external tools. Several tools are already available which can turn the XML files into source code in other languages such as C++, Perl and Python. Other tools such as libglade can load the XML files and create the interfaces at runtime. %%category: development, X %%license: GPL %%license verified by: Karl Söderström %%license verified on: 4 Nov 2000 %%maintainer: Damon Chaplin %%updated: 4 Nov 2000 %%keywords: gtk, interface, development %%interface: X Windows System %%programs: %%GNU: no %%web-page: http://glade.pn.org %%support: %%doc: English programmer manual included %%developers: Damon Chaplin Martijn van Beers %%contributors: %%sponsors: %%source: http://glade.pn.org/download.html %%debian: http://packages.debian.org/glade %%redhat: %%repository: %%related: gtk %%source-language: C %%supported-languages: C, C++, Ada, Python, Perl, Eiffel %%use-requirements: GTK+ >= 1.2.0 %%build-prerequisites: %%weak-prerequisites: gnome-libs >= 1.0.50, Gettext >= 0.10.35 %%source-prerequisites: %%version: 0.5.9 stable released 20 May 2000, 0.5.11 beta released 1 Oct 2000 %%announce-list: address@hidden %%announce-news: %%help-list: address@hidden %%help-news: %%dev-list: address@hidden %%dev-news: %%bug-list: %%bug-database: %%entry written by: Karl Söderström
