It appears the URL to ftp from has been changed and we were not
informed, since when I went to the gzip Web site (http://www.gzip.org)
I was able to download a tar.gz file with no trouble from the URL
ftp://gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/GNU/gzip/gzip-1.2.4.tar.gz
I used 'wget' to download it.

I'll put the new source URL in our Directory. If you have any further
problems, please do not hesitate to contact us!
