   stat rev 2.3 is invalid/obsolete:

   the new rev is 2.4:

   ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/linux/utils/file/stat-2.4.tar.gz

Thanks for telling us! I made the change; the updated version should
appear in the Directory tomorrow.
