it may be that part of the problem is that the source is
<http://www.gnu.org/gnulist/cordelia/CLISP.txt> (upcase) while the page
is <http://www.gnu.org/directory/clisp.html> (downcase).

there are minor spelling errors and inaccuracies that I would rather
not bother her with.

maybe I should keep my own copy in the CLISP CVS and ask Janet to sync
hers with mine at each release?
