I would be really happy if a future GHM took place south of the Equator,
hopefully where I live [0] ;)

August is winter here (that is, rarely below 20º, most likely hotter
than summer for most of you) so prices tend to go down - definitely
below the 50-60€ range, which, along with the nice weather and
landscape, would compensate for the pricier airfare (if compared to
EU-EU flights) and make it easier for South American folks to attend.
