Client and server are on the same box. So it's not physical. Ok,
Illl look at cliet config again. Tnx.

It could also mean there is a stale mount of a previous glusterfs session
where you are attempting the current mount.

This error means that there is some problem in the connection between
the client and server.
This problem can be physicaly, or logicaly (configuration of glusterfs).

best regards

I'm sure it does. What does the error mean and what should I
look for?

Check your network connection between the servers and the client.
And check your spec files if in the client you are connecting to the
right volume on server.
GlusterFS works fine on 64bits..

Ok, trying to get my new 64 bit gluster running.

      CentOS5
fuse-2.7.0-1.el5.rf (which has the 64 bit library)
      glusterfs-1.3.5

Not mounting. Getting the following in the client log

2007-10-23 11:34:54 E [fuse-bridge.c:1990:fuse_transport_init]
glusterfs-fuse: fuse_mount failed (Transport endpoint is not connected)

The trouble shooting page says to turn on DEBUG, I did that.
Nothing interesting in the log. Anyone have a clue what this error
means? Tnx.
