Hi,

I got the latest code tar from:

ftp.zresearch.com/pub/gluster/release/1.4

I compiled the tool-chain for "x86_64-static" using
"gcc-4.0.2-glibc-2.3.6"

When I tried to compile the mainline files, I faced
following 2 problems

PROBLEM 1:
==========

If I do "make iso", I got following error:

"""
cp
/home/shreenivas/Work/SystemSoftware/Gluster/current/1.4/gluster--mainline--1.1/destdir_stage3/*.{gex,tgz}
./iso_fs_i686/extensions
cp: cannot stat
`/home/shreenivas/Work/SystemSoftware/Gluster/current/1.4/gluster--mainline--1.1/destdir_stage3/*.gex':
No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat
`/home/shreenivas/Work/SystemSoftware/Gluster/current/1.4/gluster--mainline--1.1/destdir_stage3/*.tgz':
No such file or directory
make: *** [copy-extensions] Error 1
"""

Can you help me to solve this problem ? I think that
the toolchain should have created these folders, or
else, I am missing some step.

PROBLEM 2:
==========

If I do "make" I got following error:

"""

==> SYST ... done.    ==> PWD ... done.
==> TYPE I ... done.  ==> CWD /pub/gluster/external
... done.
==> PASV ... done.    ==> RETR linux-2.6.23.9.tar.gz
...

make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/shreenivas/Work/SystemSoftware/Gluster/current/1.4/gluster--mainline--1.1'

"""

I checked for the tar linux-2.6.23.9.tar.gz on the ftp
server, but its not there. An older version tar is
kept there.

Can you suggest me some solution for this ? A solution
to use the old tar that is present on the ftp server
or else can you add this new tar ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
