Ahh, sorry, you mean -N to glusterfs.  Duh.

It is the same:

(gdb) run -N -f test.vol /mnt
Starting program: /usr/local/sbin/glusterfs -N -f test.vol /mnt
warning: Unable to get location for thread creation breakpoint: generic error
[New LWP 100351]
[New Thread 0x8057000 (LWP 100399)]

Program exited with code 0377.
