Whatever your distro is, making sure the same packaged versions of the
kernel, fuse (module AND libraries) and gluster are used on all nodes is
probably a good idea (i.e. build on one clean machine and install on the
rest). I've found that discrepancies can lead to all sorts of obscure
issues that are nearly impossible to reproduce reliably.
