Hi,
I've just released gm2-1.1.0 and built packages for x86_64 and i686
architectures debian wheezy. If you are running a production system
it might be advisable to migrate from the gm2 grafted on 4.1.2 to this
release which is grafted onto gcc-4.7.3. Also built is gm2-avr a cross
compiler hosted on x86_64 and targeting Atmel series of microprocessors.
On Debian Wheezy i686 and x86_64 it passes all regression tests. On
Debian Jessie there are still 6 failures.
The major advantage of this release aside from many bug fixes is that
it coexists with libtool and can produce static and dynamic libraries
via libtool. There is also a new option -fm2-whole-program which
allows for inter module optimization.
I've updated the homepage and uploaded source tarballs on
floppsie.comp.glam.ac.uk/download/c
enjoy,
Gaius
