After thinking about it, I just checked in a change so all the libraries 
get installed in the usual place ($libdir). This will make it easier for 
people to run after building gnash without having to hack 
/etc/ld.so.conf or LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Better to change the code, than to 
require people to read the documentation...

Since both the people trying Gnash at this time (thank for reporting 
bugs!) had this problem, it seems easier to install them in the default 
location, or this would be a continual support issue.
