Hi Rob,
Somewhere A while back I saw an announcement about a build lab for free software developers to test on a variety of different machines. Does anyone have a point to this
I would ask at the OSU Open Source Lab http://osuosl.org/ - if it's not them, they probably know who you're talking about.
Also, you could try OSDL's desktop project: http://www.osdl.org/lab_activities/desktop_linuxInterestingly, Adobe is a member of OSDL. It might be a good idea to find out what their attitude to Gnash is sooner rather than later. If they are sensible, they will welcome broader support for Flash, but...
Another company that runs a Linux desktop test lab is Novell: http://www.betterdesktop.org
On top of that, the Debian project does a lot of cross-platform automated building and testing, which could help to highlight any portability problems.
Cheers! Daniel
