The current SVG standard doesn't support video and audio, but the upcoming 1.2
does. When it's officially released, and who/what will support it, is another
matter.
ActionScripts are flash-only, but javascript is supported by SVG, and it is
possible to make games etc., check out this sample game, works in firefox 1.5:

The problem is that you have to embed the smart functions in the SVG, while
flash got that in the actionscript-lib in the player.
