We have decided to use gstreamer for audio (and perhaps later video) decoding,
but swfdec more like a swf-decoder with a gstreamer plugin, though not as
complete as gnash currently is (if i'm wrong please correct me). And therefore
i personally doubt that we can use stuff from swfdec...

As far as I know there has not been contact between the two project, but
(again) i could be wrong... (and perhaps we should contact them)
