HI, I downloaded all of the current release snapshots on Sunday and tried to compile them yesterday. Of course like all new developments I discovered I was short of the required packages and needed to get build and install Py-XML, agg, ming, and the swf tools. I finally got to the point where I have 3 remaining errors I can't resolve. I would appreciate any help or a pointer to someone who can help. Error #1: /opt/garnome/lib64/gstreamer-0.10/libgstflac.so: undefined symbol: FLAC__SeekableStreamDecoderStateString I've re-built and installed libFLAC.so.8.2.0 and relinked plug-ins but I am still getting the error message. Do I have the right version of libFLAC ?? I double checked the Pkg_Config_Path variable and the .pc files. They point to the right place. Error #2: I've built and installed gst-ffmpeg with the included snapshot of ffmpeg. However, gnash configure script never finds it. I can not find any .pc files which indicate it is installed. Does it use the .pc files? Does the current release create a .pc file? Error #3: *** No rule to make target `../backend/libgnashagg.la', needed by `kde-gnash'. Stop. Sorry, I can't mind read on the make files. Thanks in advance for the help. Mike |
