Hi all,
It's good have our own space, i'm glad for it...i would like to start
talking about the direction to take for the next release, in particular
seems to most people liked the "deep blue" theme proposed for version
2.0, i think we must keep going in that direction, improving it of
course, but keeping the "essence" of the idea, i believe the version
2.0 has marked a major turning point in the gNewSense's artwork, we
must keep us working in that way, doing our best to reach the goals that
we'll propose for the next release...we have a great team and i wish to
thanks for the work you have done...
Well, Regarding the limitations of the usplash screen (256 colors), i've
tried to improve the background's gradient, but i had no good
results...you can see it here:
This is the original work...
http://dalemasduro.iespana.es/imagenes/gns/gns_usplash_2.png
and here is the indexed file (256 colors)...

Difference is noticeable, the result is a low quality screen,
considering that this is the first contact (for the user) with gNS, i
don't believe to be a good idea use gradients (at least no for larger
areas)in this screen, i think we must use just flat colors, this is my
opinion i would like to know what is your opinion...
Thanks
Patricio (daleduro)
