Just tried this morning to remove the xserver-xorg-video-siliconmotion package doing > sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-siliconmotion and rebooting. Then it started the Gnome Desktop Manager. Do you think it could be covered anywhere in the wiki? The only info I found was on http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Projects/Lemote linking to a new version of the package, so I added my problem and solution there.
