The "dir" command doesn't work on all versions of PMON2000. It didn't 
work for me on the original version that was on the machine (being 1.3.7 
IIRC). I updated to 1.4.3 and now it works. See wiki [1] for 
instructions on how to update (and be sure to read the CAUTION message 
there).
