[gNewSense-users] installing tor

Hi all,

i am trying to install tor from http://www.torproject.org/.

They are explaining how, but i can't understand everything.

Example they say use the repository

deb     http://deb.torproject.org/torproject.org <DISTRIBUTION> main 

and are explaining what the  <DISTRIBUTION> can have a name for ubuntu
or debian. (etch, lenny, sid, jaunty, intrepid, hardy)

I am running gnewsense 2.3 gnome-desktop:2.22.1.

Can i use with gnewsense the Paket-Repository for either debian or
ubuntu? If yes witch name for the distribution i should use?

(The packages in pre-configured apt are to old, well that is what the
tor people say.)
