as i said in another email, waiting for gNS3 i am testing squeeze & LXDE
on a old laptop: wicd-client do not displays the tray icon,
wpasupplicant freezes the CPU... so I was asking to investigate...

wicd in lenny-backports is 1.6.2.2-1~bpo50+1, in squeeze
(and sid) is 1.7.0+ds1-5

if i downgrade the wicd release i would have troubles with its
dependencies... so things seem to became too hard: i will try using
scripts and no graphical manager...

other suggestions are welcome :-)
