many thanks for your immediate answer

it happens that i've used Linux for a very long time ( from 1.2.13 ) but got this box just while ago - and i'd like to keep on using Linux

now the box is running OpenBSD because they have working installation for start - but a problem with framebuffer resolution ( ) and of course a lot of stuff that i don't need on my desktop, as usually

Gnewsense interests me because of the freedom of stuff that i don't want into my system - hope i have some way of getting it running

i have done some homework but found no Linux distribution to install on my
Lemote Fuloong mini ( 2f model 6003 ).  there is Debian but for me it's
bloatware and found no way to install it so that i actually may choose what
to install ...

if i only would find some means of installing just the bare minimum to be
able to compile c and connect to the world ...

Other than (possibly) gNewsSense, Gentoo and NixOS both have ports
that work with the mini.

I think your only issue with gNewSense may be linux - I forget at what
point it became not so machine-specific, but if you do have issues you
can just install linux-libre 2.6.37 or something.
