Sam,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CrosspostingI'm confused. The first part says that "crossposting is perceived as inconsiderate, poor etiquette and is banned from Usenet newsgroups and virtually all email lists." But the second part talks about advantages of crossposting.
It specifically mentions Usenet.
I've also looked throught the RFC 1855 and didn't find anything bad about crossposting. [1]
For one, it sets multiple communities to work on the same problem and it's likely they'll come up with similar answers. Hence, it's duplicate (wasted) time and effort. It's better if you post to one first, and if you don't get an answer after a few days, ask on the next.
It's been a while since the last version of OpenFWWF was published. Their website says: "Known supported boards until now: 4306, 4311(rev1), 4318 and 4320". I can't find evidence that BCM43223 can work with free software.Maybe it's supported, but they didn't have a chance to test it. I want to be sure that it's not possible. That's why I want to test it myself.
I'm afraid I don't have experience with it myself.
