I've installed gNewSense on my yeeloong laptop with debootstrap because fail on netinstall.
Do you partitioned hard disk with ext4?
No. I used ext2 (or ext3)I say that because pmon do not recognize ext4.
I've separate /boot partition with ext2 (ext3 is ok, although).yes I also had that.You can have separate / and /home ext4 partitions.I may not have a separate /home partition (though I had /)Hope this help.
