it doesn`t work

rechner:~ # echo "*100#G"|gnokii --keysequence
handling keys (7).
Key press simulation failed.

rechner:~ # echo '*100#G'|gnokii --keysequence
handling keys (7).

i use a 6150 and i need this function.
