Nokia 8290

Anybody know the status of gnokii with compatability with the Nokia 8290
(gsm phone)?

It would also appear that i have a buggy smc ir controller. the smc-ircc
module was a pain to load. it finally loaded after i executed the
/etc/rc.d/init.d/irda restart several times and then waited for 10-20
minutes until loading the smc-ircc driver (lovely).  Anybody know if the
data cable would provide me with any sanity? ;-)
