Jan, the was the time when the API was designed. You had no ojections then, no
matter what was the reason. The, to hell, don't say it is bad designed. You 
didn't
to a single thing to make it better. The code also had been in CVS for some time
already, if you claim to be SMSD maintainer, then to hell MAINTAIN IT!!!
