smsd doe not work anymore

Hello,

up to about 3 weeks ago smsd worked flawlessly for me. But with more
recent versions I do have problems. I downloaded cvs again about 2 hours
ago, could compile and install gnokii, xgnokii and smsd without a problem,
but when I run:
smsd or smsd -d sms -m pq
I get:
dlopen error: /usr/local/share/smsd/libpq.so: undefined symbol:
gn_sms_defaultsubmit!
Cannot load database module pq in directory /usr/local/share/smsd!

Anything I can do to get it to work again?

N.B. when smsd still worked I used to start it without any options
