how to make a connection with nokia 61xx

Dear All,

        I want to use a misc-controller like 8051 to control my Nokia 6138, just can make and receive a voice call is ok. I have got a dual FBUS/MBUS cable and communication protocol specification for nokia 61xx from gnokii.org website, but I don't know how to make a connection and test this packets .

        Is there any sample about this? or can anyone give me some advice about how to begin the work?
