6310i and quick dial numbers

All,

I have not found a way to export or set the short dial numbers. (it 
seems that the nokia pc app doesn't export them as well??)

can anyone comment on this? is it not supported thru the api?
testing shows that they seem to be tied to the slot numer (Location) 
rather than the the name.
