Hi,

Latest automake, gettext, and gnokii.
automake-1.5,1
gettext-0.11.5_1
gnokii version 0.5.0pre6

INSTALL: autogen.sh, then gmake LIBS="-L/usr/local/libs -lintl", gmake 
install-suid.

gnokii --monitor
GNOKII Version 0.5.0pre6
Entering monitor mode...
CALL0: IDLE
CALL1: IDLE
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

With this (0.5.0pre6) version somthing seems to happen, but as you see it 
coredumps. ???

gnokii --getsms ME 1 2
GNOKII Version 0.5.0pre6
GetSMS ME 1 failed! (Command timed out.)
GetSMS ME 2 failed! (Command timed out.)

gnokii 0.3.3 very old, but working good.
Releases above 0.3.3 does not work.
Any ideas?

Have you tried the current cvs version or 0.5.0pre5 pre release? The 0.3.3
is obsoloted, the 0.4.0pre20 pre release is _quite old_. The 0.5.0pre
series contains a lot of bug fixes and should compile flawlessly on FreeBSD.
If the current version cannot be compiled or doesn't working let us now.
