That's okay and understandable. But it might mean that I sometimes have
to post a sequence of patches that depend on each other, if I get bored
and can't wait for inclusion of previous patches into CVS. I hope that
doesn't restrict your choices too much.

Presently I'm stuck with the 3110 code waiting for changes in gsm-sms.c
and gsm-statemachine.c. If there are no more comments on my proposed
changes (none yet seen for sms encoding issues), I'll resort to posting
patches that do things "my way". Feel free to reject...
