Yes, but that will severely limit the options available - last time I
tried, there were no extended addressbook or calendar functions using
the AT driver - which is exactly what I'm after... :-}

That might be worthwhile looking into, I suppose. Pity those cables are
so expensive <sigh>
One thing that came to my mind the other day: Apparently, there's
another project busy with this kind of thing - gammu (sp?) Does anybody
know whether those problems show up there as well? Any interactions
between the teams? (from the website of gammu I wonder whether the two
teams are on speaking terms at all - so apologies in case I hit a
hornet's nest here... :-/ )
