Hi
I did not get any reply to my mail a few days ago, so I am trying to
figure out more by myself.
Unfortunately, I don't get why gnokii is refusing my getsms commands. I
think they are compliant to the man page.
According to 'gnokii --help' the syntax is:
gnokii --getsms memory_type start [end] [-f file] [-F file] [-d]
Ok, I've tried all of these without success:
502 gnokii --get-sms IN 0 -f inbox-30.8.04
503 gnokii --get-sms IN 1 -f inbox-30.8.04
504 gnokii --get-sms IN 0
505 gnokii --get-sms IN 1
Just in case gnokii is not "recognizing" 8310:
507 gnokii --get-sms ME 1
508 gnokii --get-sms ME 0
509 gnokii --get-sms SM 1
Well, every one of these generated only the output:
GNOKII Version 0.6.1
Use '/usr/lib/gnokii/gnokii --help' for usage information.
What is wrong, please?
Since xgnokii crashes when attempting to get sms's from my phone, I have
to try using gnokii on the command line, in the hope that I'll get some
informative error messages...
Any hint is greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
David
