8110 (2501) & smsd

Hello,

I'm very interested in your project because I'm trying to build a simple application to get party confirmation via SMS from a group of friends.

 

I have an old Nokia 8110 and I would like to do some testing, so I have built a serial cable and I have installed gnokii-0.6.3.

gnokii works fine, it identifies the phone and get/send sms but I have some problems trying to start smsd...
