gnokii?

Hello all.
I think I've not finished my subscription to mailing list but it's not 
important to me that much-I'm looking for just one explanation.
I have that weird nokia 6100 with 5.51 firmware, and of course with sigmatel 
irda dongle and setting model=6100 and conn=irda gnokii won't work. That's 
understandable. What ain't is that windows binary works 100% ok with same 
setings????   I need it just for sending sms's so if there is a quick 
"solution" for this problem, please write to address@hidden
