Hi,
Recently purchased a Nokia 6610 + Nokia DKU-5 (USB) data cable.
Can I access this phone using Gnokii and the DKU-5 data cable ?
I am using SuSE9.1 prof. kernel 2.6.8 + gnokii-0.6.0.
When I connect the cable the kernel reports:
<kernel message>
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 4
usb 2-1: Product: Nokia Connectivity Cable DKU-5
</kernel message>
I also have access to a IRDA port. When I connect this port
the kernel reports:
<kernel message>
pl2303 2-1:1.0: PL-2303 converter detected
usb 2-1: PL-2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0
usbcore: registered new driver pl2303
drivers/usb/serial/pl2303.c: Prolific PL2303 USB to serial adaptor driver v0.11
</kernel message>
Nokia 6610 is a supported model. I have not been able to make gnokii work.
Please advise. Is there anyone who has a 6610 working with gnokii ?
Thanks
Nohez
