Subject: 6100 : AT commands over rs232
Dears,
Is AT comands sent over the MBUS or the FBUS ?
I build myself a voltage converter that seems to work (the loopback is
working fine when connecting RX and TX together) , but the phone doesn't
respond...
Should I connect other pins than just FBUS RX, TX and GND ??? What about the
USBPowDet pin ?
Even the Nokia PC suite doesn't detect the phone.....I bought a data cable,
but exactly same problem, I opened the data cable and as my own circuit only
3 wires are connected : RX,TX, GND.
How can this work ? I am simply interested in connecting my phone to
Hyperterminal and send AT commands to it. I need a RS232 interface because
the ultimate goal is to connect the phone to an embedded DSP.
The Nokia 6100 has the 14 pin connector....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
John
